At the Newman Arms event in October, I was able to get some general feedback and advice from a Animator who had experience in Pre Vis. He told me about how it can be different in doing pre vis for live action and for animation. Live action can have limitations due to what actions actors can do and how cameras are operated. In Animation there is more freedom as the camera movements and characters will all be done in artificial spaces. He informed me that in pre vis, it was important to have a good understanding of cinematic language and timing to really convey the idea.

Since there wasn't many Pre Vis animators present at the event I was not able to gather much feedback. This semester I was also unable to get in contact with a mentor to help give feedback on my work. Going forward into semester 2 I would want to find one. Perhaps I will get into contact with Hannah from my second year unit.
