Client: Mystifry Specialty Donuts & Coffee
Work: Illustration for a poster and graphic design for a magazine advert.

Mystifry is a donut business based in Basel Switzerland. I was commissioned for a poster and a advert that would be put in a local magazine. I created them in the drawing program FireAlpaca.
The first commission was the magazine advert, it needed to include information on where to find the store and that the advert was a coupon for one free donut. I included their motifs of colours and fonts with pictures of their most appealing donuts. I was instructed to include German and English. I followed specific specifications such as dimensions so it could adhere to the magazine's requirements.

The second commission was an illustration of a poster that would be put out on a blackboard to be used to advertise the current donuts. The idea was to place the donuts above the magic circle as if they were being summoned because Mystifry's branding is of occult and witchcraft aesthetic. I worked closely with the owner of Mystifry and the director of operations. I consistently communicated with Mystifry's owner Allegra Wolff over what design choses she wanted to include and what changes she felt would work. Originally the flames were blue to give it a sense of mysticism, but later was changed to be normal flames to keep with the colour palette of Mysitifry. Overall Allegra was very happy with the final product and I was paid nicely.
I also did some photoshop work, I would remove the backgrounds of the images they took of the monthly flavours for their websites.
